Alfred Marcus (アルフレッド マーカス, Arufureddo Mākasu) is the homeroom instructor for the first year S-Class. He also serves as the faculty adviser for the Ultimate Magic Research Society study group.

Appearance

Alfred usually wears a suit and tie and wears a calm expression when in class. He sports a slicked back hair and has two locks of hair that stand "inwards" on the top of his head. Alfred also grows a small goatee on his chin.

Personality

Alfred, when he first appeared, was the typical strict instructor who disciplines students without holding back, not even exempting whether it was Shin nor Gus whom he told to be quiet in the halls to the entrance ceremony. However, despite his strict demeanor Alfred was very worried about his students like when he ran to Shin and the rest of the S-Class after Shin subjugated the demonoid.

Background

Alfred graduated Advanced Magic Academy, and has been an instructor for five years. Before he became an instructor, he was part of the Royal Court Magician Division. After working there for about five years, since there was an opening in the academy’s teaching staff, he became an instructor. The person he respects is Magi Merlin. Because of that, he is delighted to be the instructor in charge of S-class.
