A Pioneering New Hero is the fifth episode of the Kenja no Mago anime.
Synopsis[]
Mark takes Shin and the others to his family-run blacksmith shop, where Shin commissions a new sword, and buys a gift for Sicily. However, there's a little something that disturbs him since his altercation with Schtrom and prevents him from thinking of anything else.
The magic he had used was not meant to cause an explosion, let alone makes holes on the ground. The only answer he had at that moment was that Schtrom was still alive, somewhere.
Thus, Shin plans to try to improve the level of each of his comrades and prepare for a future battle before the same incident reoccurs again.
In the meanwhile, the Bluesphere Empire begins preparing to go to war, and Shin is formally decorated for his heroic actions.
