Kurt von Ritzburg (カート フォン リッツバーグ Kāto Fon Rittsubāgu) was a former A-Class student who was obsessed on having Sizilien as his fiancée. As punishment from King Diseum and his father, he was expelled from the Academy and stripped from his nobility for breaking the law. After being turned into a devil by Oliver Schtrom, Kurt went mad at the Advanced Magic Academy for his mistreatment and expulsion and aimed to destroy the academy and kill Shin.
Appearance[]
Kurt was a young man of average height with blonde hair and deep blue eyes. He was mainly seen with a twisted look on his face in reflection of his arrogant nature. He mainly wore clothing signifying his status as a noble.
Personality[]
Kurt is an arrogant person who constantly uses his father's power to try to get what he wants. He believes he deserves a lot of respect and feels he is special because of Schtrom. This only disgusted other people such as Prince August and his own father, Russell von Ritzburg, who he abused him for his ignorance of disobeying the royal decree's law.
He was obsessed with having Sizilien as his fiancée
He hated that Shin not only got 1st place in the exam and got into S-class while he was in A-class, but Shin also took Sizilien as his fiancée.
When he was a demon, Kurt completely lost his sense of reasons as he is weak of controlling his sanity.
Even Schtrom thinks Kurt was too much of an idiot.
Background[]
Kurt’s attitude changed after he was called by Schtrom when he was 3rd year in middle school and since then, Gus and co. felt his magic increased. His personality changed too as he flaunts his noble title at the academy which greatly displeased his father.
Chronology[]
Kurt is first seen during the day of the entrance exam to the Advanced Magic Academy. Kurt aggressively grabbed Shin after Shin ignored him and then defended himself. Kurt tried to flaunt his noble title against Shin, who didn't care who he was. August von Earlshide then came to reprimand Kurt for his disrespectful actions.
Kurt's attitude deeply displeased his father so he was punished and was tied in his room until Madam Ritzburg called for Schtrom who again catalyzed Kurt’s magic power, hastening his demon transformation. Kurt then appeared in the entrance of the academy and attacked the Ultimate Magic Research Society while they were in their way to auditorium. Kurt and Shin fight and ended with Kurt’s death as there was no other way to save him.
After Kurt's death, the House of Ritzburg were at first under observation but after Schtrom's confession that he had used Kurt as a guinea pig, they were not charged of any crimes, and were treated as victims instead. However, because it was the truth that Kurt did cause an uproar, his father had decided to resign from his post as the Vice Minister of the Finance Bureau.
Abilities[]
It was said that his magic increased since he was a 3rd year in Middle School. The output of his magic while he was a demon was immense. However according to Shin, Kurt was weak of not in control and was driven by his emotions even though became a demon.

- Out of all of the students, Kurt was the only known who gotten expelled from the academy and gotten killed.
